Julia Zadoorian-Klammer, George’s UX Lead,  joined me on the George Podcast for a much-needed discussion on User Experience, and the joys and challenges that come with it.

In this eighth episode, Julia not only emphasises the importance of UX research and takes us through some George projects she’s been working on, but she also digs deeper into the challenges researchers experience and leaves us with a handful of tips we can all make use of. One of which being the simple question Why?. This seemingly trivial follow-up question often leads to the most valuable information in user research and is essential in finding out what customers think, feel, and want. If we dare to practice the virtue of listening to customers.

Learn to listen. It sounds so easy but it’s not. We sometimes forget to listen, not only to customers but also to each other. And I think this is really important when it comes to research. Take a step back and focus on the customer.
