In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, user experience is key to the success of any digital product. Ensuring that your product meets the needs of your target audience is crucial. Enter the George Discovery Hub. As a matter of fact, it ensures close contact with the users. Users who become a discoverer can make their opinion heard, their feedback matter, and shape the future of George.
Zeljka Stojanovic is Project Lead of the Discovery Hub, and Ilayda Ari is a fellow team member of the UX Research Team and the Discovery Hub Project. Both had crucial roles in the project’s journey. They took the Discovery Hub from the initial idea to the now established network of users who participate in beta testings, provide their feedback, and voice their opinion.
The members of the George Discovery Hub, the Discoverers, play a vital role in shaping George’s future. They are a diverse group. Their common feature: being passionate about improving digital products. They all are happy to provide feedback on new features, design changes, and more. Ilayda has a clear picture of the ideal discoverer:
“Loud. Curious. Highly motivated to share their opinion and willing to improve George. As easy as it sounds: the ideal discoverer is someone who wants to be heard. And we are here to listen.” (Ilayda Ari)
The George Discovery Hub takes beta testing to the next level by providing various ways in which users can give their feedback and make their opinion and experience count. Surveys, beta testings, and even personal meetings with developers from the George Team are among them. Not to forget, the Discovery Hub is more than a kind of communication channel. It is a platform, a network, a hub where tech-enthusiasts, users interested in digital development, and every other George user can meet.
“For me, the Discovery Hub is not just an internal panel for usability testing, but also an opportunity to improve George together with our customers and discover the users’ needs.” (Zeljka Stojanovic)
Without doubt, nor the Discovery Hub nor this podcast episode would be complete without Julia Zadorian-Klammer, UX Research Lead. She sent special greetings and her two cents on the Discovery Hub and its journey, from the initial idea to now.
